Helping children smile,

One masterpiece at a time

Our mission is to restore confidence, happiness and pride to anyone struggling with low self-esteem during their medical journey, especially bald children. Our vision is a world where every child goes to sleep proud of their differences.

We accomplish this by donating Smile Kits inclusive of paints, brushes and canvases to children’s hospitals and charity organizations around the world. Children can paint and customize their very own head scarves, neck scarves and superhero capes. Each Smile Kit provides a child an outlet of creativity, and the ability to wear their masterpiece with a smile.

Rosie’s dream

“My dream is that all bald kids like me can love themselves and be proud of their unique difference. Hopefully, the head scarf, neck scarf or super hero cape will make them feel confident about their look, and turn awkward conversations about their difference into a happy one. I want to help kids to love themselves just the way they are, and to make them smile." - Rosie

Coming Up Roses means everything is turning out okay. Even though Rosie is sometimes sad about her hair loss, she teaches us with her smile that everything is Coming Up Rosies.

 
 

Our impact

Since our start in July 2016, we’ve donated over 3,800 Smile Kits to 52 children’s hospitals across 21 US States. We’ve donated Smile Kits internationally to the National Alopecia Foundations in the United States, Australia, Canada, Italy, and Ireland.
